An EPC survey report (Energy Performance Certificate survey) is the survey that takes place in order to produce a domestic or commercial property’s Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This takes the form of a visit from an energy assessor who examines all sorts of variables to be able to accurately assess the energy performance of your property. The assessor will be both qualified and approved/accredited as required by law.
The type of thing that our energy assessor looks at includes the heating system, the lighting system, how energy is kept in the property, the construction of the property itself, and its size. Features such as loft insulation, water heaters including hot water tanks and domestic boilers, radiators, and windows are all items that will need to be assessed when producing an accurate survey.
Unlike a building survey, which may involve invasive procedures, the EPC survey report is based entirely on observation. The time taken for an EPC survey depends on the type, size, and function of a property, so please get in touch, whether it’s a residential house or commercial property in South Wales or in the Bristol and West of England area.
